Mary Lewis is the Special Education teacher in the Elementary II classroom and has taught at ACC for 22 years. Mary is a Master Gardener, holds a certificate in Horticultural Therapy, and helps manage the school gardens and solarium. Mary completed a B.S in Elementary Education and a B.S. in Special Education at the University of North Dakota; and Emotional/Behavioral Disorders graduate coursework through Minnesota State University Moorhead. She provides a multisensory learning environment for her students with an emphasis on horticulture and nature education.
