Connie Lillejord E-mail Connie
Connie joined the Anne Carlsen Center in 1992. She leads the therapy department in providing physical, occupational and speech therapy services for the residents and outpatients. She oversees the Activities department and Adaptive Equipment services.
Lillejord began her career as an occupational therapist working with the 0-3 population in the Infant Development program in Jamestown. She worked for six years for Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City and provided therapy and consultation to area nursing homes, public schools and the local hospital working with clients ranging in age from three to 103 years old. She returned to Jamestown in 1992 and began as a staff occupational therapist moving into the Director of Therapy services three years later.
Lillejord is a graduate of St. Catherine University, St. Paul, Minnesota where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy. She received her Master’s from the University of North Dakota in 2008.
She plays centerfield on the Anne Carlsen women’s softball team and has played volleyball for years. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors at the YMCA, serves as secretary on church council and enjoys being a fill in for Sunday school classes. She is an AAUW member, serving as co-membership chair and volunteer. She has been volunteering for Safe Shelter for the past three years. She and her husband, Jon have been licensed as foster parents for the past 11 years. Lillejord enjoys gardening, reading, writing and getting creative!
