Michele Well
Michele Well joined the Anne Carlsen Center in 1990 and is currently the Director of Education. Her belief is that all children have a unique gift to share in this world and it is up to us to develop that gift. Michele began working at the ACC in 1990. After graduating from Valley City State University with a degree in elementary/early childhood education she worked in the classroom as a general education teacher for many years before going back to get her Master of Education Degree from the University of North Dakota. She also holds an Autistic Spectrum Disorders Certificate from UND.
Michele is very active in all areas of the Center and in her community. As a member of the ACC outreach evaluation team, she provides educational evaluations and consultation services throughout North Dakota. Michele has presented at various workshops and conferences throughout the tri-state area on topics regarding autism spectrum disorders. She is currently an adjunct instructor at Jamestown College teaching specialized classes in the education department.
